Profession of the Month:

Certified Nursing Assistant

The profession of the month for June is Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA).

In honor of June 12th being National CNA Day, this month is dedicated to this career. Becoming a CNA is a truly amazing and fulfilling career option. CNAs typically answer calls from patients, check patients' vital signs, clean medical supplies, assist with dressing, bathing, and grooming patients, and even ensure that safety protocols are being carried out properly. You can become a CNA right after obtaining your high school diploma or GED and enroll in a certified training program to learn hygiene, technical clinical skills, and patient care. After completing their education, CNAs must take their CNA certification exams at the state level, which is administered through the National Nurse Aide Assessment Program. Certified Nursing Assistants are crucial for patient care in and out of the hospital system, and The Medical Tree is proud to recognize this profession for the month of June.
